About us
Fat Pheasant Bakery launched in 2025 out of a love of all things baked! Our founder Amelia has been baking since she was tall enough to reach the kitchen counter top, and is completely self-taught following years of baking for friends, family and neighbours.
With a love of all things homemade, Fat Pheasant Bakery was born out of a want to share delicious treats with the local community, and out of a love of celebrating. Whether celebrating something special, or tucking into some cookies in front of the telly, cake makes everything better.
Our name comes from the (many) fat pheasants that we see in our garden every day – we have one recurrent visitor that’s particularly chubby that we’ve named Phil. Phil, this one’s for you.
